Active for over a century
A family present in the funeral home sector since the early twentieth century.
The company was founded in 1919 by Francesco Preschern (1891-1953) who graduated cabinetmaker - woodworker at the "Imperiale Regia Scuola Speciale per Lavorazione del Legno" in Mariano del Friuli.
Originally the business included the production of funeral coffins.
At the end of the Second World War, Francesco was joined in the management of the business by his son Remigio (1922-2000), also a graduate cabinetmaker - civil carpenter at the same Institute.
Under the leadership of Remigio, the company underwent a rapid impulse and an equally rapid expansion: the carpentry business was soon abandoned, in particular the production of coffins, while the commercial and service supply section was developed.
The position of absolute importance assumed by the company obtains multiple awards, to the point that many municipalities believe they are entrusting it with the management of funeral services in their own areas of territorial competence.
In the 1980s, the son Claudio and, for some periods, the son Ennio joined in the management of Remigio and his spouse Diletta. It was in this period that the company expanded further through the opening of secondary offices in the Municipalities of Cormòns, Ronchi dei Legionari and, finally, Gorizia.
